Student Directed Flex Program at Mother Margaret Mary

This  brand new Edmonton Catholic High School Mother Margaret Mary has used a collaborative process with students and parents. This learning needs to be important to the students.  There must be student and staff input.  It is all about relationships and getting to know your students.

Students register online for their choices during flex time.  One of the keys of the program is the teacher advisor.

Student responsibility and self direction – day to day planning, assessment and active involvement in programming

Inclusive students:  can access learning coach

Students have the voice of choice in flex time.

Students are empowered to be responsible for their learning.
